As a condition to being considered for the contest, you hereby represent and warrant that the following statements are true and correct and that you agree to the terms and conditions contained herein:
The contest is open to all, however, Arizona APCO/NENA Executive Board members are not eligible to participate. Participation in the contest constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these rules.
Be prepared to upload your design in one of the following formats: PSD (Photoshop), AI (Adobe Illustrator), jpeg, or PDF.
The top three designs will be selected by the Arizona APCO/NENA Executive Board and the winning design will be printed on the back of the official conference T-shirt.
Arizona APCO/NENA reserves the right to use all designs for future marketing purposes.
No reproduced images will be accepted. Your submission must be original artwork.
There is no limit to the number of entries per entrant during the entry period.
If your submission needs to be reproduced to ensure the highest quality of printing, we will do our best to recreate the most accurate design.
Deadline for submissions: January 15th, 2019 (midnight MST)
You must complete the entire application. Entries will not be accepted if application is incomplete or sent separately from the online form.
Selection of top three submissions: January 18th, 2019.
The top three finalist will be selected by the Arizona APCO/NENA Executive board and finalists will be notified that their design has made it to the next round of online voting.
Voting on the top three finalists will occur between February 1st and February 28th, 2019.
The winning design will be determined by the creativity of the design and how well it incorporates the conference host Chapter and City (Arizona Chapter, Scottsdale), APCO Western Region, and public safety communications.
Selection of winner: March 1st, 2019
Winner will be notified via phone call and email.
The winner will receive the following:
One conference shirt
One full conference registration to the 2019 APCO Western Region Conference.
Recognition on the conference website, emails and social media.
The submission form must be filled out completely and truthfully. If you fail to complete the form, give any false information or fail to reveal any pertinent information, you may be disqualified from the competition.
All decisions are made by Arizona APCO/NENA and are final.
If winner cannot be contacted within two weeks of selection, prize may be forfeited.
