9-1-1 Give Back

Communications Departments across the valley, alongside industry partners, participated in the 3rd annual 9-1-1 Gives Back luncheon held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Valley Luna (Maricopa County) and Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Mi Amigo Ricardo (Pinal County). This has been a fun and charitable approach during the holiday season to make someone’s holidays a bit brighter. We coordinated with the restaurant in advance to select a waiter or waitress to work our event who is deserving and in much need of assistance this year.  After the event, each attendee brought $100 to cover the cost of food, and the rest was given as a tip to the wait staff. This year, both events donated over $2,700 as a tip to a much-deserving waitress.
